Hello and welcome. I’m Robyn, a qualified Art Therapist and Fine Artist based at Goolugatup Heathcote Gallery and Museum in Perth, Western Australia. I am here to offer my expertise and support in exploring the enriching possibilities of art for your personal growth and well-being. My
commitment to art’s transformative power is driven by its profound benefits for both mental and physical health. I believe in art’s capacity to heal and inspire, and I focus on supporting individuals with vision impairments, blindness, neurodivergent conditions, and traumatic brain injuries. By tailoring my approach to meet diverse needs, I ensure that everyone, regardless of age or ability, can experience the joy and healing that art offers.
Whether I’m crafting my own pieces or guiding you through fine art, therapy, and workshops, my goal is to nurture your unique journey with
sensitivity and care. My artistic practice is deeply informed by my experiences at prestigious anatomical museums, including the Royal Perth Hospital Anatomical Museum, Murdoch University Anatomy Museum, and the University of Western Australia’s Anatomical Museum. These experiences have enriched my understanding of human and animal forms, allowing me to approach my work with the utmost respect and integrity. I explore themes of neuroaesthetics, nature, and our environmental impact and am enthusiastic about bringing art into community spaces and collaborative projects.
At REL Artizan Studio, we focus on building confidence through a balanced approach that values both the creative process and the final artwork. By applying neuropsychological principles and mindfulness practices, we transform mistakes— “happy accidents” — into learning opportunities and inspire continued exploration and self-expression.
