About the event

Totem Trails: Sculpting Guardians from the Earth

Shape your story into clay and creature form. In this earthy and imaginative sculpting workshop, children will create their very own totem or guardian figure — inspired by animals, nature, and personal symbolism. Using air-dry clay and natural embellishments, each child will bring a creature or companion to life, exploring texture, form, and storytelling along the way.

We'll talk about what different animals represent (bravery, gentleness, wisdom, play), and children will be invited to sculpt something meaningful to them. This is a beautiful, grounding session that invites connection to self, the land, and the stories we carry within.

  • Suitable for ages 5–11

  • All materials included (clay, paint, natural textures)

  • Encourages imagination, symbolic thinking, and mindful hands-on making
